Mad max

The thermometer outside our window read 49,7 degrees Celsius this afternoon – while it was still sitting in the shade, that is. As soon as the sun hit it though, it went on the blink, all of a sudden reading: 188 degrees Fahrenheit(!).
So, I took it inside, the poor dear!
Now it is resting, reading: H – which must be short for: Help! or Have you ever!?

I read on the BBC news last night that Athens is holding the all-time European high with 48 degrees. They won’t change that now, I fear, for the obvious reason that Athens starts with an A, and because they probably want to avoid that all the world will be asking shortly: WTF is Pomarão!?
