Future shock

Sometimes I wonder whether some democrats actually believe that the threat to democracy will disappear into thin air once the former president is behind bars for his role in the failed coup in 2021.
Yeah, right. As if Das Dritte Reich never happened because Hitler went to prison after his failed coup in 1923. In the nine months the latter actually served of his five years sentence, he arrived at the conclusion that power is something that should be handed over, not seized. And that’s exactly what happened.
